well its been ages since ive been on not really touched a pencil in months but planning on getting back into it and im looking for a head shot of a highland cow if anyone can help needs to be decent res so i can blow it right up for the detail

im going to be starting a new piece but have no idea what would like to do skin and give fur and hair a rest for a while. does anyone have any images they are willing to donate to the cause? If i use your image ill send you a print of the finished piece anyone interested?

well guys after months of making excuses and generally being a lazy sod (new day job didnt help either) ive finally finished the giraffe (i will get a decent pic up as soon as i can get the photos done) overall its ok theres bits im really happy with and bits i absolutely hate but i wasnt going to start erasing and redoing i needed to get it put to bed and out of the way. the drawing really reflects how ive been these last few months its a bit of a journey you can see where ive just been going through the motions
oh and ive got a little exhibition in edinburgh starting on tuesday nothing special just some wall space in a cafe/bistro organised through artspace to let but hey ho you never know
anyway guys i hope you like the giraffe and ill be starting something new soon probably a bit smaller and possible an elephant need a break from hair and fur

im really sorry guys i havent drawn in over two months. i found myself a bit burnt out to be honest and i started a new job. Then i landed myself in hospital for a week with a severe bowel blockage got out for a week and then put myself back in with a torn quad, ive been getting ready for scotlands strongest man and i guess my body just decided it had had enough so now im laid up wityh an extremely swollen and painful leg.
im really sorry i havent kept you guys up to date or produced any work lately. The giraffe is only about 10hrs of finished so i do promise as soon as im capable of drawing again i will get that finished.
Heatherzart was also kind enough to send me a present of some scratch boards so i really need to have a bash at them as well.
On a lighter note i get my new doggy tomorrow a 2  1/2 yr old Boerboel called marley i will post pics of the big lump soon i have posted a pic of my lovely bruise from the internal bleeding in my leg for all you gore fans

Sorry its been a while guys but the latest giraffe wip is now up. im still having problems with the shadows below the cheek and the ear but ive decided to get all the drawing in light and then gradually rework it bringing the darker tones in this should help me visualize the structure better and will hopefully work round the block ive had with these shadows hope you like it
